Joe Scarborough accuses NRA and gun manufacturers of profiting off the death of children

Come on Joe, you’re not fooling anyone.

Joe Scarborough was a Republican member of the House of Representatives some years ago, but any sense that this moron is a Conservative has long ago been dispelled. Even with a lifetime 95 percent rating from the American Conservative Union, Joe has been drinking the Kool-Aid at MSNBC for quite some time.

Joe Scarborough accused the NRA and gun manufacturers on Friday of making “millions of dollars” off of the “slaughter” in Newtown; this nonsensical statement show how far left Scarborough has drifted.

While gun sales have surged since the Sandy Hook massacre, it’s not the random act of a madman that has people running to gun stores and gun shows, it’s the White House’s proclamation that they will tighten gun laws. You might try recalibrating your sights Mr. Scarborough towards the real cause, politicians who believe guns can kill on their own.

Scarborough, who now claims to have changed his views on guns after the killings, said that Republicans were wrong to try to block the new measures, and that they were beholden to gun manufacturers and the gun lobby:

“This is not about protecting the Second Amendment. This is about gun manufacturers making millions and millions and millions of dollars. This is about retailers making millions and millions and millions of dollars. Do you know how much money these people have made over the slaughter of 20 innocents in Newtown? Do you know how much richer these rich gun manufacturers have gotten over the past month and how the NRA uses that tragedy to gin up fears and websites use that tragedy to gin up fears that they’re coming to take your guns away? Hey, got a message for you. They can’t take your guns away.”

Accusing thousands of gun store owners, firearm manufacturers and the NRA of using the senseless killing of children as a means to make money shows that Joe Scarborough has a raging case of MSNBC brain disease.

Yes Mr. Scarborough, people are out buying whatever they can get their hands on but that’s due to real fear, not that the government is going to come knocking at your door to seize your guns, though New York’s governor has stated that gun confiscation is a possibility, but rather because they fear their right to purchase a firearm might be infringed upon by well-meaning overly-righteous Liberals or RINOs like yourself Mr. Scarborough.

The greatest boon to the sales of weapons and ammunition in the last four years hasn’t been random killings but the president himself and his avowed anti-gun philosophy.

Support of gun ownership and the single organization that works to protect gun owner’s rights, the NRA, isn’t something that Conservatives should be ashamed of despite the lunatic ranting of Joe Scarborough.
